We had a wonderful time! Great people, good food and comfortable accommodations. The whole staff was friendly and very accommodating!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Dive Pirates - Bonaire 2026 adventure. Throughout the entire experience, I was accompanied by exceptional individuals who were both friendly and very helpful, enhancing the overall enjoyment. The accommodations were both comfortable and well-maintained, offering an ideal setting for relaxation after a day of diving. The food was fantastic, with tons of tasty choices to munch on between dives. Most importantly, the diving itself was amazing, and the entire crew (both on and off the boat) worked hard to ensure everyone felt safe, supported, and had an unforgettable experience. Overall, it was a truly amazing trip that went way beyond what I imagined. I’d definitely recommend the Dive Pirates organization to anyone who’s dreaming of a memorable scuba diving adventure, and I can’t wait to go on another adventure!

Hello Hellen, Positives: * Clear pent up demand for a new venue evidenced by the quickness of it selling out * Good group of recipients, about 25% of divers were recipients * Good to have an accessible town to add some diversity for shopping, eating, gelato. Good for non-divers * Buffet venue large enough for all pirates with a beautiful views of water * access to additional air/nitrox cylinders for ease of shore diving * food was decent * pool operational Cons * Expensive and would have thought room rate ($424) would have been more reasonable in the offseason * Although adaptive accessible, challenging for wheelchair recipients to get buffet food safely, slope of ramps too great. * Having 19 divers w/ 5 recipients too many especially with one dive master and trying to get people off and on boat. * Corridor of rooms very loud when folks open and close front doors * Allot of work getting equipment off and on the boat, not very vallet. * Dive Masters were average at best. * Awards ceremony very tight venue * schedule changes last minute and relied on whats app. * not enough team activity, missed out on boat competition, karaoke, bingo, etc.

Bonaire has beautiful reefs and dive spots. The diving was amazing and being able to shore dive was a bonus. Having a city to explore with restaurants and shops made this an enjoyable trip. I would have liked to have taken more time to explore the tourist sites of the island. The Divi dive shop was helpful and accommodated changes easily. The staff in the boat were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I missed the concierge service we had in Cayman Brac. The hotel had nice rooms with excellent AC. The food was ok, not great with the exception of the cook to order specials which were good. There were many choices which made creating a nutritious meal easy. The facilities were clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. I loved sitting by the water and enjoyed drinks and dining in a relaxed setting. The pools were well maintained and seemed there were ramps throughout the grounds. I would return to Bonaire and the hotel with Dive Pirates.
