We had a great time, it was very empowering to see the dive pirates mission in action. I thought that the accommodations were nice, but did lack a bit on initial cleanliness. The diver masters seemed rushed especially if they had afternoon dives and the food could have been better. but the diving was great.

The diving and the people are amazing! The food at the resort was nothing to be excited about. Most meals were cooked hours before being served which made most of it on the old and soggy side. The resort was not up front with me about being oversold on our "deluxe ocean view room" they kept saying that our room the first night was an upgrade and that it was a "studio". After 20 minutes of conversing about it, they finally admitted to being short on what we booked. We did move rooms the next day and we were issued a small on premise credit. Next time I would appreciate the resort just being honest with us. I think next time would would like to just have the breakfast on-site and go into town for our dinners. (Most of our dinners were in town and had some excellent meals.) The Dive Pirates team was amazing with all the hard work of everyone involved!!!

We had a fantastic time working with Dive Pirates. Everything went smoothly - Thanks for handling the entry tax - made for a very quick trip through immigration. Trip leaders were on top of everything.

I am completely blown away by how well this trip was curated. The venue was great. Everything we needed was on site. Shopping in town was well within walking distance. Resort staff was friendly and welcoming. My only constructive suggestion would be to provide information on finding transportation to the offsite flamingo sanctuary or the national park or sharing information for travel found by other attendees. Otherwise the trip was the adventure of a lifetime. I am looking forward to trying to get my diving certification so that I can more fully join in the fun. We will definitely be coming back to Bonaire and would be estatic to join another Dive Pirates Adventure!

This trip was my wife's and my own first experience with diving and the Dive Pirates. So many little things were thought of and prepared for ahead of time by the staff to make life a little less stressed; each one might have been small, but they all added up in the end. Thank you!! Two things a vacation must have are chances to relax, and to breath. The organizers and staff gave everyone this chance. There were new people to meet, great amenities to enjoy, delicious eats, a wonderful staff with smiles and greetings showing care for what you might need to enjoy your stay, everyday. Pirate - Someone who, despite life's adversity and challenges, is willing to attack and overcome their tribulations with friends, salty air, and a potential ration or two of rum!!! The Pirates I enjoyed this trip with are truly wonderful people. Watching their faces as they made their way into and out of the water each day is something I will always treasure and keep within me. To find people willing to give of themselves to help others I consider a gift; to work along beside them a blessing. Pirates, new and old, renewed a commitment to the sea, and to do things within the sea that gravity on land did not necessarily allow. When a face shows joy, you have done something good!!
